Getting the right stock into the right store before the customer walks out empty-handed. BizBloqs handles allocation, replenishment and the shrinkage nobody wants to talk about.

What does a WMS do for a retailer?

For a retailer, warehouse management governs the flow from supplier to store and to the customer: receiving bulk, cross-docking what is already allocated, replenishing stores against demand, and picking online orders from the same building. Store and online stock are reported from one confirmed position rather than reconciled afterwards.

  • Store replenishment and online orders picked from one stock pool
  • Cross-dock for pre-allocated volume so it never enters storage
  • Shrinkage found by cycle counting instead of at year end
  • Returns from store and web received through the same process

Know what sold, what shrank and what to send next

Getting the right stock into the right store before the customer walks out empty-handed. BizBloqs handles allocation, replenishment and the shrinkage nobody wants to talk about.

Replenishment beats guesswork

Retail stock decisions are made under time pressure with incomplete information, and the cost shows up twice: empty shelves on the products that were selling, and markdowns on the products that were not.

BizBloqs links sell-through per store back to allocation, so replenishment is driven by what is actually moving in each location rather than by an even split across the estate.

Store-level minimums, seasonal curves and campaign lifts are all configurable, so the system supports the buying rhythm you already work to.

Shrinkage stops being a mystery

Unexplained stock loss is rarely one big event. It is a slow accumulation of receipts nobody checked, transfers nobody confirmed and adjustments nobody questioned.

Every movement is logged against a user, a location and a moment, and counting is continuous rather than annual. Variances show up while the cause is still recoverable.

Back-of-store and shop floor are treated as distinct locations, which is usually the single change that makes store stock accurate enough to sell online from.

The problem

Allocation to stores is done on last year's spreadsheet

OMS

Rule-Based Store Allocation

Allocation driven by sell-through, store grade and size curve — the volume goes where it actually sells

Stores run out mid-week and replenishment arrives too late

WMS

Min/Max Store Replenishment

Automatic replenishment orders per store on live shelf cover — the gap is filled before it becomes a lost sale

Shrinkage is discovered at the annual count

WMS

Variance & Shrinkage Control

Every count difference logged with location, product and user — patterns visible while they can still be stopped

Inter-store transfers disappear in transit

WMS

Transfer & In-Transit Tracking

Dispatch and receipt scanned at both ends with an in-transit stock status — no more phantom stock between sites

Season end-of-life is managed by discounting everything

OMS

Ageing & Markdown Insight

Stock ageing per style, colour and store — markdown targeted at the stock that needs it, not the whole range

In addition to a scan procedure with EDI integration, BizBloqs has set up an entire production system for us. Production planning can provide direct instructions and as soon as they are ready, it all arrives in the OMS. This gives us a larger production capacity and a drastic reduction of the picking mistakes in dispatching.
