Warehousing

Your own stock, your own site, your own people. BizBloqs turns a warehouse into a measured operation — every location known, every move recorded, every picker guided.

What does warehouse management cover?

Warehouse management covers the physical work between goods arriving and goods leaving: receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and counting. A warehouse management system directs each of those steps on a scanner and records the result, so stock position and work status reflect what actually happened on the floor.

  • System-directed putaway and picking instead of paper lists
  • Stock held per location, batch and serial, not per warehouse total
  • Perpetual cycle counting rather than an annual shutdown count
  • Every movement scan-confirmed and timestamped

Pick accuracy is a process problem, not a people problem

Your own stock, your own site, your own people. BizBloqs turns a warehouse into a measured operation — every location known, every move recorded, every picker guided.

Stop paying for the same error twice

Every mispick is paid for twice: once when it ships and once when it comes back. Warehouses that run on paper lists and experienced staff feel fast until someone is ill, someone leaves, or the season doubles the volume.

BizBloqs replaces the list with a guided task on a scanner. The system decides the sequence, verifies the location and verifies the item, so accuracy stops depending on how long somebody has worked there.

The same guidance is what makes new staff productive in days rather than months, which is the difference between surviving a peak and dreading it.

Count without stopping the operation

Annual stocktakes are expensive, disruptive and out of date the day after. Cycle counting spreads the same work across the year and targets the locations where discrepancies actually occur.

Counts are generated by rule — by velocity, by value, by last-counted date — and issued as ordinary tasks between other work. Variances are logged with the user and the moment, so a pattern can be traced to a process rather than a person.

Layout, zoning and replenishment rules are configured to your building, not to a template. Fast movers sit where the walk is shortest, and bulk locations feed pick faces automatically before they run dry.

The problem

Pick errors reach the customer before anyone notices

WMS

Scan-Verified Picking

Location, product and quantity confirmed by scan at every touch — the wrong item cannot leave the building

Annual stock count shuts the operation down for days

WMS

Perpetual Cycle Counting

Counts scheduled by velocity and value while the warehouse keeps running — no shutdown, no year-end surprise

Pickers walk kilometres for a handful of lines

WMS

Route & Wave Optimisation

Batch, zone and wave picking with location-sequenced routes — the same order picked in a fraction of the steps

Nobody knows which locations are actually free

WMS

Directed Putaway & Slotting

The system assigns the location on receipt based on size, velocity and rules — capacity is used, not guessed

Labour performance is a feeling, not a number

WMS

Activity Monitoring

Lines per hour, per person, per zone, per shift — productivity visible on a dashboard instead of in an argument

In addition to a scan procedure with EDI integration, BizBloqs has set up an entire production system for us. Production planning can provide direct instructions and as soon as they are ready, it all arrives in the OMS. This gives us a larger production capacity and a drastic reduction of the picking mistakes in dispatching.
