BizBloqs × WooCommerce

THE WAREHOUSE OWNS THE STOCK FIGURE

WooCommerce grows with the business, and so does the number of plugins keeping the stock figure roughly right. Eventually nobody can say which one last touched it.

BizBloqs replaces that stack with one rule: the warehouse counts, WooCommerce displays.

IS THIS YOU?

Who this WooCommerce integration is for

Four plugins each have a view on your stock. None of them has walked to the shelf.

  • Your stock accuracy depends on a chain of plugins nobody fully maps.
  • Order handling is manual once the order reaches the warehouse.
  • You are outgrowing a process that worked at a tenth of the volume.

WHAT IS WOOCOMMERCE?

THE MOST WIDELY USED WEBSHOP PLATFORM THERE IS

WooCommerce turns WordPress into a full webshop, with a plugin for almost every requirement a growing shop develops.

That flexibility is its strength online and its weakness in the warehouse, where several plugins each hold an opinion about stock.

ONE SOURCE INSTEAD OF FOUR PLUGINS

Orders come into BizBloqs over the WooCommerce REST API, are picked and packed by scan, and the sellable position is written back per SKU.

Shipment status and tracking are posted onto the order, so the customer email is triggered by a parcel rather than a button.

WHAT CHANGES ONCE WOOCOMMERCE AND BIZBLOQS ARE CONNECTED

Orders, stock, fulfilments and returns move between WooCommerce and BizBloqs as they happen, over the official API.

Paid orders in within seconds

Paid orders arrive in BizBloqs within seconds and enter the pick wave without anyone exporting a file.

Sellable stock back per SKU

Sellable stock is written back per SKU from a counted warehouse position, which is what actually stops overselling.

Fulfilment with track & trace

When the parcel is packed, the fulfilment is posted with carrier and tracking, and the customer notification is triggered by a real shipment.

Partial shipments handled

Backorders and partial shipments are supported properly: what is available ships now, the rest stays visible as open.

Returns matched to the order

Returns are received against the original order line, with condition and reason recorded, so credits are based on facts.

One stock truth across channels

If you sell on more than one channel, they all read the same warehouse position instead of each holding their own optimistic number.

This is what your WooCommerce setup looks like from day one

See it on your own order flow. Thirty minutes, screen share, no slide deck — or tell us where it hurts today and we will tell you honestly whether we can fix it.

E-commerce integration

How the WooCommerce integration works

WooCommerce runs on your own WordPress hosting, which makes it flexible and makes its stock figure fragile — plugins write to it, imports overwrite it, and nobody is sure which number is right. BizBloqs takes that responsibility off the shop.

WooCommerce — REST API

WooCommerce REST API with consumer key/secret over HTTPS

A REST API key pair with read/write scope connects the shop to BizBloqs. Paid orders are collected on a short interval, products and variations come down for scanning, and availability goes back as a single authoritative number per SKU. Shipments are written back with carrier and tracking so Woo sends its own completion email, and refunds and returns line up with the physical return receipt in the warehouse.

What you need

  • WooCommerce on WordPress with HTTPS and the REST API enabled
  • A consumer key/secret with read/write permissions
  • Unique SKUs on products and variations
  • Agreement that the warehouse is leading for stock, not a plugin

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard message set between BizBloqs and WooCommerce. Empty fields mean that message is not exchanged in that direction by default; optional rows depend on your modules, licence and process.

How we roll it out

  1. 1. Connect

We agree what is in scope and which system leads per object, then set up the technical connection on a test environment first, so you see real data move before anything touches your live operation.

  2. 2. Map and test

Fields, codes and exceptions are mapped and tested with your own orders, including the ones that normally go wrong.

  3. 3. Go live

We go live with your team on the floor and watch the first days closely.

Does your process fit this message set?

This is our standard WooCommerce integration. If you need messages that are not in the table, send us your list — we tailor integrations per customer through workflows and will tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom.

Integration FAQ

Our stock plugin also writes stock — is that a problem?

It is the problem. One system has to be leading; we agree that it is the warehouse and switch the other writers off, otherwise the two will keep overwriting each other.

Does this work on shared hosting?

Usually yes, as long as the REST API is reachable over HTTPS and the host does not throttle it aggressively. We test that before go-live.

What happens if the WooCommerce connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with WooCommerce. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting WooCommerce take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your product data and process agreements already are.

In addition to a scan procedure with EDI integration, BizBloqs has set up an entire production system for us. Production planning can provide direct instructions and as soon as they are ready, it all arrives in the OMS. This gives us a larger production capacity and a drastic reduction of the picking mistakes in dispatching.
