How the Shopware integration works

Shopware is the platform of choice for European merchants who sell B2C and B2B from the same shop, often with customer-specific prices and order volumes. Those two models meet in the warehouse, and that is where the stock position is actually decided.

Shopware 6 — Admin API

Shopware 6 Admin API (OAuth integration key/secret), orders and stock per variant

BizBloqs authenticates on the Shopware 6 Admin API with an integration key and secret. Orders are collected per sales channel, products and variants come down for scanning, and available stock is written back per variant so the shop never sells what is already reserved. When the parcel actually leaves, the order state moves to shipped with carrier and tracking attached, and that same status is relayed on to your ERP. B2B orders with larger line quantities, pallets or delivery windows follow their own picking rule without a separate shop.

What you need

  • Shopware 6 (cloud or self-hosted) reachable over HTTPS
  • An Admin API integration with access key and secret
  • Unique product numbers or EANs per variant
  • Agreement on which sales channels share the same physical stock

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard message set between BizBloqs and Shopware. Empty fields mean that message is not exchanged in that direction by default; optional rows depend on your modules, licence and process.

Integration FAQ

We run several sales channels — is that one connection?

Yes. One Admin API integration covers the instance; orders keep their sales channel, so documents, packing slips and availability rules stay per channel.

Do we still need a stock plugin in the shop?

No. BizBloqs writes availability back over the standard Admin API, so no custom plugin has to be maintained through Shopware updates.

Does Shopware 5 work too?

Shopware 6 is the standard route. Shopware 5 is possible over its REST API, but it is a project-specific connection rather than the standard set.

What happens if the Shopware connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with Shopware. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting Shopware take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your product data and process agreements already are.
