BizBloqs × BigCommerce

B2B AND B2C OUT OF ONE WAREHOUSE

BigCommerce merchants typically run consumer orders and trade orders side by side, with different prices, different quantities and very different packing requirements.

BizBloqs treats them as one flow with different rules, and reports one honest availability back to the storefront.

IS THIS YOU?

Who this BigCommerce integration is for

One warehouse, two very different order types, and one stock figure that pretends they do not interfere.

  • You serve B2B and B2C from the same physical stock.
  • Large trade orders regularly empty the shelf for consumer orders.
  • Partial shipment is a normal event you currently handle by hand.

WHAT IS BIGCOMMERCE?

ENTERPRISE COMMERCE WITHOUT THE PLUGIN STACK

BigCommerce offers multi-storefront, B2B price lists and headless options from a hosted platform with a well-documented REST API.

The API is excellent at describing what was sold; it has nothing to say about whether it is on the shelf.

AVAILABILITY THAT REFLECTS RESERVATIONS

What goes back to BigCommerce is physical stock minus reservations, per variant, so a trade order of forty does not silently consume the consumer stock.

Shipments post back with carrier and tracking per consignment, including partial deliveries on large orders.

WHAT CHANGES ONCE BIGCOMMERCE AND BIZBLOQS ARE CONNECTED

Orders, stock, fulfilments and returns move between BigCommerce and BizBloqs as they happen, over the official API.

Paid orders in within seconds

Paid orders arrive in BizBloqs within seconds and enter the pick wave without anyone exporting a file.

Sellable stock back per SKU

Sellable stock is written back per SKU from a counted warehouse position, which is what actually stops overselling.

Fulfilment with track & trace

When the parcel is packed, the fulfilment is posted with carrier and tracking, and the customer notification is triggered by a real shipment.

Partial shipments handled

Backorders and partial shipments are supported properly: what is available ships now, the rest stays visible as open.

Returns matched to the order

Returns are received against the original order line, with condition and reason recorded, so credits are based on facts.

One stock truth across channels

If you sell on more than one channel, they all read the same warehouse position instead of each holding their own optimistic number.

This is what your BigCommerce setup looks like from day one

See it on your own order flow. Thirty minutes, screen share, no slide deck — or tell us where it hurts today and we will tell you honestly whether we can fix it.

E-commerce integration

How the BigCommerce integration works

BigCommerce carries B2B and B2C on the same store, often with price lists and customer groups. BizBloqs handles the physical side of both without asking you to split your catalogue in two.

BigCommerce — V3 API

V3 REST API with a store API account, order webhooks

A store API account with scoped permissions connects BizBloqs to the V3 API. Orders arrive by webhook, products and variants come down for scanning, and inventory is written back per variant. Shipments are created with carrier and tracking so BigCommerce moves the order to shipped and notifies the customer, while partial shipments and cancellations follow the same path instead of being handled by hand in the admin.

What you need

  • A BigCommerce store with API access
  • A store API account with order, product and inventory scopes
  • SKUs maintained per variant
  • Agreement on B2B price list handling in the order flow

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard message set between BizBloqs and BigCommerce. Empty fields mean that message is not exchanged in that direction by default; optional rows depend on your modules, licence and process.

How we roll it out

  1. 1. Connect

We agree what is in scope and which system leads per object, then set up the technical connection on a test environment first, so you see real data move before anything touches your live operation.

  2. 2. Map and test

Fields, codes and exceptions are mapped and tested with your own orders, including the ones that normally go wrong.

  3. 3. Go live

We go live with your team on the floor and watch the first days closely.

Does your process fit this message set?

This is our standard BigCommerce integration. If you need messages that are not in the table, send us your list — we tailor integrations per customer through workflows and will tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom.

Integration FAQ

Do B2B and B2C orders need separate processes?

Not in the warehouse. They arrive as orders with different rules — pallet vs parcel, different documents — and BizBloqs applies the rule per order.

Can we ship an order in parts?

Yes. Partial shipments are written back per line, so the customer sees exactly what left and what is still open.

What happens if the BigCommerce connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

The table above is our standard integration with BigCommerce. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does connecting BigCommerce take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your product data and process agreements already are.

In addition to a scan procedure with EDI integration, BizBloqs has set up an entire production system for us. Production planning can provide direct instructions and as soon as they are ready, it all arrives in the OMS. This gives us a larger production capacity and a drastic reduction of the picking mistakes in dispatching.
