BizBloqs × Klipboard Wholesale

TRADE FAST. SHIP FASTER.

Klipboard Wholesale handles the commercial side of distribution well: customers, pricing, purchasing, invoicing. The bottleneck in wholesale is almost never the order — it is the hours between the order landing and the box leaving.

BizBloqs takes those hours. Receiving, put-away, scanned picking, packing and counting run in the WMS, and every confirmation goes straight back into Klipboard.

IS THIS YOU?

Who this Klipboard Wholesale integration is for

Klipboard knows what you sold and at what price. It does not know whether the picker found it, or whether the last three pieces were already promised to someone else.

  • You run Klipboard Wholesale for trade and want the warehouse to keep up with the order intake.
  • Back-orders and stock differences cost you more in credit notes than in missing goods.
  • Your cut-off time is set by how long picking takes, not by the carrier.

WHAT IS KLIPBOARD WHOLESALE?

ERP BUILT FOR DISTRIBUTORS

Klipboard Wholesale is trade and distribution software: large article files, customer-specific pricing, purchasing and back-order handling, invoicing — the commercial machine behind a wholesale business.

What decides your delivery reliability, though, happens in the aisles: whether the picker found it, whether the count was right, whether the last three of an article were reserved or already gone.

A CUT-OFF TIME YOU CAN ACTUALLY PROMISE

Wholesale customers buy on availability and speed. When picking is scanned and stock is right, a later cut-off time stops being a risk and becomes a sales argument.

The exact interface is scoped with Klipboard and your key users, because wholesale environments differ in which modules are live. The message set itself is our standard ERP baseline.

WHAT CHANGES ONCE KLIPBOARD WHOLESALE AND BIZBLOQS ARE CONNECTED

The connection is a data agreement, not a development project. Orders, receipts, stock corrections and shipping confirmations move between Klipboard Wholesale and BizBloqs as they happen.

Orders on the handheld the moment they are released

A released Klipboard order is pick work in BizBloqs within seconds, routed by zone and priority, so the picking day starts with the orders that have to leave first rather than with a printer queue.

Scanned picking with barcode verification

Every pick is verified by barcode against the order line. Wrong-item shipments — the most expensive mistake in wholesale, because it costs twice in freight and once in trust — largely disappear.

Receiving and put-away against the purchase order

Goods are received against the open purchase order with quantity and batch checked at the dock, and the receipt is confirmed back into Klipboard so purchasing can see it immediately.

Back-orders resolved on real availability

Because BizBloqs holds the real position per location including reservations, back-orders are released on availability that actually exists instead of on a figure that has not been corrected yet.

Continuous counting instead of a yearly shutdown

Cycle counting runs alongside normal work, with reason codes on every correction. The year-end count stops being a weekend where nothing ships.

Carrier labels and track and trace at the pack bench

Packing, weighing, labelling and track and trace are one flow at the bench, and the shipment confirmation lands back in Klipboard so customer service can answer without calling the warehouse.

ERP integration

How the Klipboard Wholesale integration works

Klipboard Wholesale is a trade and distribution ERP, so the sales and purchase side is already strong; what it does not do is run the physical floor. BizBloqs connects through Klipboard's supported integration interface, agreed per customer with their team, and takes over receiving, put-away, picking, packing and counting.

Klipboard Wholesale — supported integration interface

API or scheduled message exchange, scoped together with the Klipboard team

Because wholesale environments differ in which modules are live, the exact interface is scoped in a joint session with Klipboard and your key users: which objects are exchanged, at what moment, and which system owns which field. The message set below is the baseline we work from. Everything moves as structured messages with a queue behind it, so a failed message is visible and replayable rather than a silent gap in your stock.

What you need

  • An active Klipboard Wholesale environment with integration access enabled
  • A scoping session with your Klipboard consultant to confirm the interface per object
  • Agreement on which system is leading for items, pricing and stock
  • A test administration to run the full cycle before go-live

Which messages are exchanged

This is the standard interface between an ERP and a WMS, exchanged with Klipboard Wholesale as the events happen. Empty cells mean that direction is not part of the standard integration.

Rows marked optional depend on the modules in your Klipboard Wholesale licence and on how your administration is set up. Production, assembly and their time registration require the matching modules.

This is our standard integration. An empty field means that message is not exchanged in that direction by default. Integrations can be modified or extended customer-specific through workflows.

How we roll it out

  1. 1. Discovery

We walk through your Klipboard Wholesale administration and agree which objects are in scope and which system is leading per object.

  2. 2. Connection

The technical connection to Klipboard Wholesale is set up and validated against a test administration. Access is scoped to the objects in the agreed message set.

  3. 3. Mapping

Item codes, units, warehouses, locations and reason codes are mapped. Deviations between the ERP and the physical warehouse surface here, not on go-live day.

  4. 4. Test round

We run a full cycle on a test administration: purchase order in, receipt back, sales order in, delivery back, count and correction. Every message is checked in both systems.

  5. 5. Go-live

Cut over on the live administration with monitored message queues. Failed messages are visible and can be replayed — nothing disappears silently.

Does your process fit this message set?

This is our standard Klipboard Wholesale integration. If you need messages that are not in the table, send us your list — we tailor integrations per customer through workflows and will tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom.

Integration FAQ

Is the Klipboard integration standard or bespoke?

The message set is standard — it is the same ERP baseline we run everywhere. What is agreed per customer is how those messages travel and which optional objects are in scope, because that depends on the modules you have live.

Do we keep entering orders in Klipboard?

Yes. Klipboard stays your system of record for customers, pricing, purchasing and invoicing. BizBloqs takes over the warehouse execution and reports back what actually happened.

Is stock in Klipboard Wholesale updated in real time?

Stock in the ERP is updated on every confirmed warehouse action — receipt, delivery, count, correction. The operational truth lives in the WMS, where stock is tracked per location, batch and serial; Klipboard Wholesale holds the financial and administrative position.

Which system is leading for item master data?

Klipboard Wholesale. Items, barcodes, units and weights are created and maintained in the ERP and downloaded into BizBloqs. Warehouse-specific attributes, such as pick location or storage class, are maintained in BizBloqs.

What happens if the connection drops?

Messages are queued and replayed. Warehouse work continues in BizBloqs during an ERP or network outage; the queue drains once the connection is restored, and failed messages stay visible instead of disappearing silently.

Can we change the standard message set?

Yes. The table above is our standard integration. Extra messages, different field mappings or customer-specific rules are handled through workflows in BizBloqs — we tell you upfront what is standard and what is custom work.

How long does a Klipboard Wholesale implementation take?

The connection itself is a matter of days. The realistic timeline is set by mapping and testing, and by how clean your item master and location structure already are.

In addition to a scan procedure with EDI integration, BizBloqs has set up an entire production system for us. Production planning can provide direct instructions and as soon as they are ready, it all arrives in the OMS. This gives us a larger production capacity and a drastic reduction of the picking mistakes in dispatching.
